Public Notice: Rattan Public School Intent to Apply


Rattan Public School will be submitting an application for a Title IV, Part B-Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant. These grants are federally funded by the United States Department of Education and are awarded through the Oklahoma State Department of Education.  The purpose of the 21st CCLC Program is to provide opportunities for schools to establish or expand activities before or after regular school hours. These activities may include academic enrichment, tutoring services, and additional learning opportunities, such as: youth development activities, service learning, nutrition and health education, physical fitness and wellness, arts, music, technology, and literacy programs.  Programs such as financial literacy, parenting classes, job readiness, and career exploration will be available for parents and guardians, as well.
